Naughts and Crosses

This was my first complete C++ project. It took a couple of goes before it worked properly, and wasn't too well received at the Linux Game Tome. It created quite a discussion anyhow as to whether games should be filtered for quality on the Tome. The game itself is quite simple. It offers both 1 and 2 player modes and allows for varying board sizes. The aim, should you not know it, is to get all of your pieces in a row. The game is still under development, but not for much longer. The negative reaction to it means that I'll enter just a couple of suggestions that people have kindly offered, and then bring this to a close.

This is probably the most well-known of my games - for whatever reason. It got 2 stars out of 5 on HappyPenguin.org, a rating of "good" on lostcoders.net, 4 stars out of 5 on Softpedia (!), and seems to have elicited an interested look from updates.de too!

Downloads

If you don't know what source and binary mean, then you probably want one of the binary versions. If you don't know what Linux is, you probably want the Windows version.
