Lazer Fighter

The first ever complete game I programmed, way back in 1993 at the tender of 11. The game was written for the ZX Spectrum in BASIC within around 2 weeks. Yes, I know the game isn't particularly good, but it's here all the same for anyone who might be interested.

The goal is simply to shoot all the targets within each arena. It's not as simple as it sounds - you only have a limited number of shots, and you don't have any control over the vertical movement of your ship - only horizontal. To add to the problems, there's a tank moving through the area which doesn't only destroy you on collision, but can also block your precious limited ammo.

You can download the game here. You will need a Spectrum emulator to run the game.
